Her postgraduate training includes her ophthalmology residency served at the University of Puerto Rico (1998-2002). Dr. Jimenez attained board certification in ophthalmology with the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the Patient Education Committee of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and President of the Puerto Rico Ophthalmic Society.
